House Rules & Expectations
1. Arrive On Time
Please arrive at least 5–10 minutes early to get settled and ready for class. Late arrivals 5+ minutes will not be permitted to take class and are subject to the no-show fee/lost session. Please respect the instructor and fellow members to ensure the best experience for all. Do not reserve a class if you plan to leave early. Classes are 50 minutes.
2. Respect Your Space & Others
Be mindful of personal space during class. Use equipment carefully and return it to its proper place after use. Keep conversations to a minimum during sessions.
3. Attire & Hygiene
Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows free movement. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. You will be asked to purchase socks to take class if you forget them. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer as needed.
4. Health & Safety
Inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations before class. If feeling unwell, please stay home to protect yourself and others. Follow all instructor guidance to prevent injury.
5. Studio Etiquette & Conduct
Phones and devices should be on silent. No food in the studio; water bottles are welcome. Respect everyone’s privacy-no recording without permission.
6. Membership & Booking
Classes must be booked in advance through our online system or app. Cancellations must be made at least 10 hours before class to avoid penalties. Memberships or packs cannot be shared between individuals.
7. Community & Respect
We foster a welcoming, supportive environment for all ages and skill levels. Treat instructors, staff, and fellow members with kindness and respect. Encourage each other-Pilates is a journey, and everyone progresses at their own pace. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
8. Infrared Sauna
Sauna sessions must be reserved in advance through our online system, app, or front desk. Maximum session length is 20–40 minutes per person. You cannot use the sauna if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, high blood pressure, severe skin conditions or other medical concerns. If you’re unsure, please check with your doctor before using the sauna. At House of Pilates, we also allow medical exemptions with proper notice and a doctor’s note. Do not use the sauna if you feel unwell or have a fever. Avoid bringing food or drinks into the sauna. Drink plenty of water before and after your session. Avoid alcohol or heavy meals immediately prior to use. Phones and electronic devices should be silenced or left outside. Respect other members’ privacy and personal space. Use the sauna at your own risk. House of Pilates is not responsible for injury or adverse reactions resulting from sauna use.
